Steve has over thirty years in aerospace & defense – leading Business Development efforts in winning profitable technology and services contracts – in the US and internationally. He has succeeded by building close client relationships, long-term partnerships, and thorough research. Steve started as a US Coast Guard Officer and served as a White House Military Social Aide to President Reagan.

Working as a consultant since 2011, he provides business development and technology expertise to help develop and implement Corporate Strategic Plans, and assist companies in navigating Government Contracting. Clients include: NASA Langley Research Center, the Port of Virginia, RTI International, CDI Marine Company, AVID Aerospace, The Pinnacle Group, and Knowledge Information Solutions.

Steve worked ten years in the Enterprise Asset Management arena, providing logistics solutions to Defense and Government clients, while working for two companies: IBM and Mincom (Australia’s largest IT Company). At IBM he developed over $28M in new targets and teaming for Life Cycle Maintenance and Total Asset Visibility programs, and also provided Capture Management and “Red Team” guidance for major software programs. At Mincom he spearheaded the North American aerospace & defense business with over $11M in contracts with clients such as Lockheed Martin, the Canadian Department of National Defence, and Honeywell. He spearheaded the international development and delivery of a Shipboard Deployable Logistics Solution; operational in USCG, Canadian Navy, and USMC Maritime Prepositioning Force.

Working for an “8(a)” Federal Contractor, PROSOFT, Steve reported to CEO, leading overall pursuit of technology systems integration contracts. He led the strategy development and effort to transition from an “8(a) sole-source” mindset to a competitive small business, with growth from $10M/100 people to $26M/300+ people, via 30+ prime/sub contracts, including several national programs. Major clients were US Joint Forces Command, US Navy, US Coast Guard, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

As a Program Manager for Research Management Corporation, Steve managed an 8(a) Navy contract from startup, hiring a 12-man team who provided US Coast Guard shipboard C4I equipment installation. The Team received multiple commendation letters for outstanding performance. Working for TRW in Crystal City, he was lead team member for Weapons Systems, then Training Systems, supporting the US Navy LHD Amphibious Ship Acquisition Manager (PMS377), providing program and acquisition management.

As an Officer in the US Coast Guard, Steve served as a Military Social Aide to President Reagan in The White House. He was a Deck Officer during the “Greatest Sea Rescue of all time” – 510 people from burning MV PRINSENDAM in the Gulf of Alaska, and was a Russian interpreter.
