Tim Hopkins' industry experience includes 29 years of executive management, sales, marketing, purchasing, operational, and technical transactions throughout the world including Asia, Mid Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and North and South America. Throughout his career, Tim has raised and secured over $30 million dollars in private equity, government grants, and awards.

Tim brings a strong background in sales management, strategic relationship building, mergers and acquisitions, business strategy implementation, competitive market analysis, small- and large-scale manufacturing, team building, product development mapping, and research and development which have been honed primarily in the chemical, biochemical, and advanced materials industry.

In addition to industry experience, Tim also has program management experience in DOD, NSF, USDA, and EPA proposal writing and program management including the implementation of Task Orders (TO) in conjunction with the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center, (ARDEC) under the Rapid Prototyping and Technology Initiative (RPTI) program for warfighter battlefield response, where he has a 100-percent contract award win rate. He has also served as the primary contact and technology commercialization lead with CRADA relationships within the US Army Corp of Engineers-ERDC in renewable materials.

Tim is experienced in designing, building, and operating both pilot plant and commercial production facility operations up to 15 million pounds a year in nanoparticle, high-purity, fermentation, metal powder, small particle, and advanced materials manufacturing. He has served as CEO, COO, CTO, and Executive Vice President with companies including Mitsui Kinzoku, Magnox Pulaski, Inc., and NanoChemonics.
