Glenn Prather has 20 years of experience in contract sales and project management. His proposal and presentation experience focuses on customer applications and system requirements for complex programs involving hardware and software. He is a highly skilled project manager with experience in high tech product development, production management, and customer relations. He is well accustomed to dealing with large corporations and the complex contracts issues that accompany doing business with Fortune 100 companies.
As a consultant with TechOpp Consulting, Glenn has developed a program management system specifically designed for small businesses that enables them to responsibly bid on and manage larger R&D projects and emphasizes cost control and earned value analysis. He has also developed our PM training module. He also supports business development and commercialization efforts with DOD prime contractors.
Previously, Glenn led the bid and proposal costing and project management for large-scale military subcontracts with the Boeing Military Aircraft Company. He was the Product Manager for Litton Network Access Systems' Boeing 777 connector between the AVLAN (Avionics Local Area Network) and the PMAT (Portable Maintenance Access Terminal) and was responsible for all elements of certification and production of the Brouter (bridge / router) for the on-board fiber-optic Avionics Network as well as provided customer interface for the FAA, purchasing airlines, and Boeing. Glenn has also served as the Program Manager for several large programs at Litton Network Access Systems, VCCR, Inc., Alcatel Military Electronics Division, and ITT Electro Optics.
